Change photo access

Open iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Dupelganger. Choose limited access, change the selected photos, or remove access. Setting names may vary by iOS version. Without access, the app cannot scan those photos.

Choose which folders to scan

Use the Documents folder picker to choose the folders for a scan. The app does not get unrestricted access to your Files storage. Your file provider controls its own downloads, syncing and trash.

Turn off reminders and screenshot search

In Dupelganger Settings, turn off Check once a month to stop monthly reminders. You can also disable app notifications in iPhone Settings.

Turn off the screenshot search option in Dupelganger Settings to remove the app’s screenshot entries from iPhone search. This does not delete your original screenshots or the text already saved in local app cards.

Remove local app data

Choose Delete App in iPhone Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Dupelganger. Offload App keeps app data. Deleting the app removes its local container, including scan records and saved cards, but does not delete your photos, selected folders or exported files.

If you want to remove backup copies too, manage them separately in your iCloud or other backup settings. Your Apple purchase history remains with Apple and lets you restore an eligible unlock later.

Request deletion of a support message

Email hello@stackcurious.com from the address you used to contact us. Tell us which correspondence you want to access, correct or delete. We may verify your request and retain information when legally required.

This website uses Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use analytics cookies. Your browser’s content controls can restrict analytics scripts. The iPhone app contains no analytics, and we do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
