A sample iqama, counted from Fri 23 Oct 2026.

Every iqama, Emirates ID, passport and visa in your household, on one calendar. Expiro shows the date to start renewing, what to do first, the fine you avoid and the official app to open, with reminders that count back from the renew-by date for everyone you sponsor. Scan a document on your phone; nothing is uploaded and there is no account.

What Expiro tracks

Each document opens a renewal guide: who renews it, the steps in order, and buttons for Absher, Muqeem, ICP, GDRFA, RTA or MOI. Dates show Hijri first or Gregorian first, with the other alongside, and an iqama date can be entered on the Hijri picker. The household calendar groups everyone’s renewals by month and shares as text or PDF.

Questions

Does Expiro upload my iqama or passport?
No. The camera reads the date on the device, and there is no account. Optional sync between your devices runs through your own iCloud.
Where do the fines come from?
Expiro shows a fine only when an official source publishes it, with the date it was checked. Where no figure is published, it says so and points you to the official app.
When do reminders arrive?
They count back from the renew-by date, not the expiry date, and are planned for the whole household within iOS’s notification limit, so every document keeps its next reminder.
What if my passport expires before my iqama?
Expiro tells you to renew the passport first, and links to your home country’s passport service: India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Bangladesh or Egypt.
