Find a local helplineWhen calling a crisis line feels too large, contact a trusted person and be direct. The app can open a prefilled message:
“Hey, I haven’t been feeling like myself lately. Can we talk?”
Stay near another person if you are worried about being alone. Move away from anything you could use to hurt yourself while help is being arranged.
Crisis resources, emergency calling, trusted-person texting, and the small rescue action are free. If optional text matches a bundled safety phrase, DepreScan stops the normal score, step, and Road flow and opens its Crisis screen.
This matching happens locally on the device. It is intentionally cautious, but it can miss risk or respond when there is no immediate risk.
DepreScan does not employ crisis counselors, provide live monitoring, contact emergency services, determine your location, or tell another person that you may be at risk. A displayed resource may be operated by an independent organization with its own availability, eligibility, and privacy terms.
Do not wait for an app response in an emergency. Call local emergency services or go to the nearest emergency department.
Phone numbers and services can change. If a listed resource is incorrect, email hello@stackcurious.com. Do not use that email for immediate help.
