Overtime pay calculator

Enter your week and see the honest number: base pay, differential pay, and overtime premium computed on your differential-included rate — the way the FLSA says it must be, and the way many paychecks aren't.

Base pay (48 hrs)$1,200.00
Overtime premium (8 hrs at 1.5× your $25.00 effective rate)+$100.00
Week total$1,300.00

Overtime is computed on your differential-included rate — that's what the FLSA requires, and what many paychecks get wrong.

How this works:hours past your weekly threshold (40 for most US workers) earn a premium of (multiplier − 1) × your effective rate. Your effective rate is total straight-time pay — base plus differentials — divided by hours worked. That's the FLSA "regular rate."
