A shield won't lift after I marked the prayer

Open Waqt once — shields re-sync the moment the app foregrounds. If you marked from the Lock Screen widget while the shield was up, the shield lifts at the next check (usually within a minute) or instantly when the app opens.

My prayer times don't match my masjid

Settings → Calculation. Pick the method your masjid uses (twelve are built in, from MWL to Umm al-Qura), switch Asr to Hanafi if that's your school, and use per-prayer offsets to match the local timetable to the minute.

Fajr and Isha look wrong in summer (UK / Germany / Scandinavia)

Above 48° latitude Waqt automatically applies a high-latitude rule; you can choose middle-of-the-night, seventh-of-the-night, or twilight-angle explicitly in Settings → Calculation → High latitude.

I need everything to stop for a while

Settings → Pauses. Cycle, travel, and illness pauses each take one tap, hide every shield and check-in, and preserve your entire record. The travel pause also enables combined check-ins (Dhuhr+Asr, Maghrib+Isha).

I need my apps right now

Emergency release is always available: hold the button in the app for ten seconds and everything unlocks for fifteen minutes. It's never removed, never punished, and visible only to you.

Restore my purchase on a new phone

Settings → Restore purchase, signed into the same Apple Account. The unlock is a one-time App Store purchase tied to your Apple Account, not to a device.
