No. PepEffect Premium is a one-time purchase of $9.99. You pay once and keep it forever. No recurring charges, no trials that auto-renew.
What do I get for free?
The full peptide library with detailed write-ups, FDA-documented side effects, top community effects, and 1 story per compound. Free users can browse and research without limits.
What does Premium unlock?
Full week-by-week timelines, all community-reported effects with trends, daily check-ins with community benchmarking, side-by-side comparison tool, 50+ real published stories, and CSV export.
Is my data private?
Yes. PepEffect has zero analytics, zero tracking, and zero data collection. Everything is stored locally on your device. We don't even have servers. Your check-ins, protocol, and notes never leave your iPhone.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Go to Settings in the app → tap "Restore Purchase." This verifies your purchase with Apple and unlocks Premium on your new device.
Where does the data come from?
FDA-approved compounds (tirzepatide, semaglutide) use data from official prescribing information. Research peptides use data from published clinical studies and systematic reviews. Community data is sourced from published experience reports and is clearly labeled as anecdotal.

Can I request a new peptide compound?
Yes! Email us at hello@stackcurious.com with the compound name and we'll consider adding it in a future update.
How do I delete my check-in data?
Open Check-in History from the Home screen. Swipe left on any entry to delete, or tap into it and use the Delete button. All data is stored locally — deleting the app removes everything.
Troubleshooting
The app shows no peptide data
This should not happen — the app ships with all data built in. Try force-quitting and relaunching the app. If the issue persists, delete and reinstall from the App Store.
My purchase isn't showing as unlocked
Go to Settings → "Restore Purchase." This re-verifies your purchase with Apple. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID you used to purchase.
Check-ins aren't saving
Ensure your device has sufficient storage. PepEffect uses very little space, but if your device is completely full, SwiftData cannot write to disk. Free up some storage and try again.
