OkPhoto is an iOS application that uses your device camera and Apple's Vision framework to capture a photo, run nine on-device compliance checks against the published specification for a chosen document type, and (for paid exports) crop and encode the photo to the document's exact dimensions. It is a consumer compliance tool. OkPhoto is not affiliated with any government agency, embassy, passport office, or other issuing authority.

OkPhoto checks your photo against the specification we have on file for the chosen document, and that specification is verified against the official source cited in the app. However:

• Issuing authorities (state departments, consulates, embassies, the IRCC, USCIS, etc.) retain the final discretion to accept or reject any photo.
• Specifications may change between releases. We update them as quickly as we learn of changes; you are responsible for double-checking the official source linked inside the app before submission.
• A “passed” verdict in OkPhoto means the photo meets the specification we have — it is not a guarantee of acceptance by any third party.

For documents classified as “strict” in the app (such as US Passports, US Visa DS-160, Indian Passport, etc.), OkPhoto does not apply any AI enhancement, background replacement, lighting correction, skin smoothing, or other alteration to the captured frame. The exported JPEG is a direct crop of what your camera saw. This is intentional — as of January 2026 the US State Department auto-rejects AI-edited passport photos, and similar policies are in force in other jurisdictions.

OkPhoto exports are processed through Apple's in-app purchase system. All five products (Digital JPEG $2.99, Digital + Print Sheet $4.99, Family Pack $7.99, Expert Review $4.99, and Lifetime Pro $19.99) are one-time purchases. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no auto-renewal. Lifetime Pro is restorable across your Apple ID; the four consumable products are consumed on use.

Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. If an opt-in Expert Review fails, the 200% money-back guarantee is fulfilled by us through Apple's refund channel.

Captured photos, exports, history, document selection, and notification preferences are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the content you choose to capture and export. We do not access, view, or collect your photos or history.

You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or attempt to extract source code from the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law. You agree not to use OkPhoto to capture or submit photos of any person without their consent, nor to submit a photo of one person while claiming it depicts another.

The document specifications database inside OkPhoto is our best-effort interpretation of the official requirements published by each issuing authority. Each spec is linked back to its primary source inside the app. We are not legal counsel; if you have a complex case (medical accommodation, religious head covering, infant photo, etc.) we recommend confirming with the issuing authority directly.

The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, that any specification is current at the time of your submission, or that any photo will be accepted by any third party.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stack Curious, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the app, including but not limited to damages related to rejected document applications, missed deadlines, or travel-related losses.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
