Privacy Policy

Glassmode browser extension · Effective August 30, 2026

Glassmode restyles websites inside your browser. It has no account, no sign-in, and no server of ours for it to talk to. This policy is short because there is genuinely very little to disclose.

The pages you visit

To decide which parts of a page should become glass, Glassmode reads that page’s layout and colours — where the navigation bar is, how large a card is, whether the text behind the glass would still be readable. All of that happens inside your browser, as the page renders, and is discarded immediately.

Glassmode does not record, store, or transmit the pages you visit, their content, their addresses, or your browsing history. There is nowhere for it to send them: we operate no server for this extension.

The only network request it ever makes

Exactly one. When you enter a Pro license key, the extension sends that key to Lemon Squeezy’s public license-validation endpoint (api.lemonsqueezy.com) to confirm it is real. That request contains the license key and nothing else — no identifier, no page data, no usage information.

If you never buy Pro, Glassmode makes no network requests at all.

Purchases

On Chrome, Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. They run the checkout and handle payment details; we never see your card number. On the Mac App Store, Apple handles the purchase in the same way. We receive no payment information from either.

No tracking, no exceptions

Glassmode contains no analytics SDK, no telemetry, no advertising, no trackers, and sets no cookies. There is no account and no sign-in. We collect nothing, so there is nothing to sell, share, or lose in a breach — and nothing is sold or transferred to anyone.

Deleting your data

Remove the extension and everything it stored goes with it. Settings that travelled through your browser profile sync clear when you clear that profile’s synced data.

Children

Glassmode is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

This website

Separately from the extension, stackcurious.com counts page views using cookieless, aggregate analytics. It does not identify you, does not follow you across sites, and has no connection to the extension or to the pages you browse with it.

Changes

If any of the above changes, this page and its effective date change with it.
